The Dark side(do u wanna grow?)
As i was reading the book 'Every Young's Man,God's Man" .... basically its a book meant for guys lar ... but it has alot of bibical and useful principals that all can apply ... do take ur time 2 read and keep ur focus on what i have to say because tis will really determine ur whole life wif God
This book has a part tat is talking abt the 'dark side' ... a dark side tat is within us .... every1 has it ... but do we noe who is tis 'dark side' ? .... well ... we gotta noe we got one common enemy ... not Satan alone but ourself
so who is tis dark side as u may ask .... well its our old nature ... the evil nature ... do u remember the verse "The old has gone and the New has come" our old self .. we have turn away and the new is our life wif God .... but tis old itself isnt gone ... it is still lurking within ourself .... do u ever felt tempted to Sin but had 2 struggled 2 do Good? its say in tis verse "Our mind is strong but the body is weak"..... our dark side will tell us all kinds of lies 2 make us fall ... and honestly speaking ... the dark side is much stronger than us ...tats why we really need to put God into our head ...everything starts in the mind and will be shown through its actions... the dark side will use every chance it gets 2 make us fall ... it may be while we r alone or our heart motive or even as we r serving God or just by going 2 service Our dark side will start making us distracted maybe by the title of the song .... or see the person seeing singing or worshiping God or the ppl around us or even where 2 go later or what we did tis morning or other events .... the dark side noes wat will make u fall and will continue 2 trouble till either die or backslide from God ... so how r we gonna fight tis strong enemy known as the 'dark side'?
first of all ... u have to know ur enemy ... know tat there is a dark side within u ... urging 2 sin,tempting and making u feel tat its a need 2 Sin ... but after we Sin all we have is guilt and have moved further away from God .... i used 2 hear ppl saying "Satan arh?heck care him lar ask him go and die and suffer in hell" .... dun be so ignorant about Satan .. he is real and hes after us ..... so know tat the Dark side will attack anytime .. even as u walk 2 skool,as u r praying,watching tv or even doing ur QT and service ... it will daily be onto you wherever u go ... so STAND ON YOUR GUARD and dun think that we r above temption ... 2nd ... so after we know our enemy so how 2 we fight tis dark side of ours? we can fight him verbally .... means by using words againist itself .... for example if it says 'hey ... dun do ur homework lar... u do ur ministry u so tired... do ur QT ... more important ...homework can tomorrow morning just tell ur teacher u forget 2 bring ... and u dun bring ur homework ... she wont scold u one' so we must noe tat tis is ...*beep* WRONGED!!!! teres no such thing as tomorrow but NOW!!! ... so if our dark side tempts us wif such thoughts ... we can fight back verbally by saying 'not doing homework is a Sin ... i dun want 2 listen to you' or 'tts not according to God's plan' or u can even quote sum verses from the bible againist the dark side... so ill give u a few verse to remember and used it againist the dark side

yup ...our dark side is like of a Shark....a few characteristics of what a shark is...
-Predatory:they hunt down other animals for the purpose of killing them.
-Persistent:they will follow the scent of blood for miles to find their prey.
-Powerful:they will leverage their physical assets of sharp teeth and muscle to overwhelm their victims.
-Precise:their calculated timing is deadly
-Purposely deceptive:they often attack from underneath their victims to avoid detection
So u can see that our dark side is very crafty and dangerous ... they will attack and we wont even know it ... so be on ur GUARD!!!
and i wonder where or how a darkside comes from or what is it? ... it explains in Romans 7:18-21
'I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature, For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do....no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing.
Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is the sin living in me that does it"
yup ... be like a wise fish ... u noe tat the dark side likes 2 bait u .. but be wise and flee from it ... the more u stay close to the bait ... the more likely u will bite it.
well ... she says about being part of it or not part of it ... i agree wif her .. be part of it or not ... if i dun be part of it .. when CG08 is done and completed i would feel so ... URGH!!! because i am not part of something great and big!
by being part of tis CG08 ur actually making history and a big impact in God's kingdom!!!
and its true that she said we gotta count our cost ..... if ur not aware of what ur getting to ... u will give up half-way and find it purposeless because if u dunno what it gonna cost ya ... ur just running aimlessly ... so do take tis time to think 'what is it gonna cost me? what r coming my way?discouragement?failures?time consuming and energy draining?' what gonna cost it ... make sure u prepare for it ... but i tell u the truth ... 2 see what comes in the end is beyond everything else !!! so R U IN or R U OUT? be futuristic ...
well ... suddenly i thought of those ppl who think tat 'hmm ... i think tis CG08 and i am not spiritual,good enough or exprienced enough... i think let the older believers do it' WRONGED!!! EVERY1 COUNTS!!! tat means u ... tis is what King Hezekiah says in Romans 5:18-19(NLT) 'Christ's one act of righteousness makes all people right in God's sight and gives them life. Because one person disobeyed God, many peiple became sinners. But because of one another person obeyed God, many people will be made right in God's sight' .... would u be the one person that obeyed God and bring many ppl to Christ?
ill like to end it off by saying tat ...Tingting has her own conviction and i have my own but its the same as its for God ... be4 u wanna be in tis completely ... have ur conviction ... noe what is more important like what she mention .... 'what is more worth than people's souls?' if u choose 2 be IN ... den be prepared to make a impact in all of history ... but u must know tat ... 2 be tere is not gonna be easy ... it gonna take alot of sweat,toil,blood 2 see tis come 2 past ... the dark side will be more onto us as we r seeing CG08 coming to past ... be on ur GUARD and lets run together wif conviction ... JIAYOU 2 EVERY1 2 SEE UR SKOOL BE WON IN JESUS!!!
and one last thing ... if ur in tis den just shoutout like tis "LET BE (school name) BE WON FOR JESUS) ... amen ! :P
come on!!! our 100 ? r u on brothers and sisters? tingting and justin wants 2 see it r we gonna give our best to our two strong and convicted leaders? they r giving their best so lets give our best to them :P
im not done!!! our unit size WEST SPRING!!! cant u see Jess and mine convictions!!! its not up 2 us but its up 2 u!!! if Jesus one man can change the world ... i dun see why u guys cant change west spring!!!
