Are You A Carrot,An Egg,Or A Coffee Bean?(feel free 2 copy n paste)

A daughter complained to her father about her life and how things have been so hard for her.She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up.She was tired of fighting and struggling.It seemed as one problem was solved a new one arouse.Her father,a chef took her to the kitchen.He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire.Soon the pots came to a boil,In one he placed the carrots,in the second he placed the eggs,and in the last he placed in the ground coffee beans.He let them boil,without saying a word.In about twenty minutes,he turned off the burners.He fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl.He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl.Then he ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.Turning to her daughter,he asked, "Tell me,What do you see?" "Carrots,eggs and coffee," she replied.Her father brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots.She did and noted that they were soft.The father then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it.After pulling off the shell,she observed the hard boiled egg.Finally,the father asked the daughter to sip the coffee.The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it means,father?" Her father explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity ... boiling water.Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong,hard, and unrelenting.However,after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile.Its thick outer shell had protected its liquid interior,but after sitting through the boiling water,its inside became hardened.The ground coffee beans were unique however.After they were in the boiling however, they had change the water.
"Which are you?" he asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door,how do you respond?Think about the pots.The boiling water is like the problems of life.Are we the carrots? We go in tough and strong but come out soft and weak. We get tired. We lose hope. We give up. Or are we the eggs? We start with a soft and sensitive heart but end hard and unfeeling inside. We hate others. We don't like ourselves. We become hard-hearted. Or can we be like the coffee beans? The water does not change the coffee powder. The coffee powder changes the water! The water has become different because fo the coffee powder.See it.Smell it.Drink it.The hotter the water,the better the taste
